FEATURES & APPLICATIONS

Our code 4904 is a primary Bondcoat powder containing Nickel and Aluminum. When flame sprayed, the particles go through a metallurgical phase change allowing self-bonding to oxide-free clean surfaces (except Copper).

Specially formulated “2 Step” metallizing powders for all low temperature powder spray torches.

  • Special “inert gas atomized” powder for ultimate cleanliness.
  • Particle size distribution designed to eliminate fuming.
  • Designed to perform well through most applicators available.
Typical Properties
Nominal Chemistry Aluminum 4.5 to 5% wt. Nickel Balance Particle Size: -140+325 mesh

Melting Temperature:  Aluminum 1220°F (660°C), Nickel 2650°F (1453°C)

Bond Strength: 3500 PSI

Deposit Density: 7.3 g/cc
